First Day of Fall

Or so they say...it was in the mid to upper 80s. Actually, it was beautiful, especially in the middle of Woodland Park. We had a great impromptu picnic and was even surprised by a visit from Daddy.

Henry enjoyed a special treat! A cupcake sent up from Ommy from the CTK Picnic.

Daddy is a good sport!

A little bit of nature in the middle of town...a large Red Tail Hawk joined us for lunch. I don't think he was having what we were having. *shutter*

On a little prettier note, you just never know when you are going to find a little jewel and why I almost always haul my big camera around with me. I wish I had taken a zoomed out picture of this. This butterfly was sitting on broken up concrete on dead leaves almost in the gutter of a busy street. Guess it is all in how you look at it.

Happy Autumnal Equinox!

More Gratutious Smiley Baby Faces

When Fisher was born the first thing they said was that he had long toes and long eyelashes...boy, they weren't kidding! Doesn't it just figure women spend hundreds of dollars on mascara and boys are just born with lashes like these?!

Forever Plaid

I bought Henry these shorts and "The Fig" the matching hat before he was even born. I had big plans to have a little photo session with them this summer. Finally, on the last weekend of the summer, on the way to Octoberfest, I had to make my move. Fisher seems to be confirming that it was all worth the wait.

Something About September

Maybe it is the light, maybe the boys are looking particularly cute lately, but I sure seem to have an itchy shutter trigger finger lately!

I call these Splendor in the Grass!

Mr. Hollywood! First the sunglasses...

...then the posing! I told him to pose for me and this is what followed. I have no idea where he got it, he's never been told to pose anywhere like this...especially with the hands. A natural I guess. Let me add...he was spinning while posing, not sure that comes through.

Getting his agent on the phone I guess. And yes, he knows how to use the iPhone...figured it out on his own.

And finally, what fall day (or any day for Henry!) would be complete without some football? Good use for Ommy's vintage Tupperware! Sorry Ommy, don't think that is what you were intending when you sent it back with him full of snacks!
