Kites and cold and wind...and a football helmet?

A few weekends ago we went to the Annual Kite Festival at Jacobsen Park with Poppy, Uncle Cavan and Aunt Whitney. It was windy...good for kite flying, and cooooold...not so good for us. We were sports and soldiered on (Poppy kept reminding us how cold it was, I'm not saying he was complaining, but he was awfully anxious to get to lunch. I don't think he remembered all of the "fun outings" he dragged us to as kids). The turn out was good...we can't wait for next year, we're just hoping for a little warmer weather. Now the helmet...it was bought earlier in the day and did not leave his head until later that night, which might seem a little odd...but he was probably the smartest dressed guy in town, bet he was the only one who's ears weren't windburned at the end of the day.

Gotta love the outfit, especially the helmet. The pictures really look cold. Can't wait to see ya'll down here in Fla this week. Love, Auntie Laura
